SUMMARY

We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated sales professional, with extensive sales management, revenue growth and business development experience, to be part of a business that has phenomenal growth potential over the next few years. The position will also be responsible for developing an Inside Sales Call Center operation. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Meets and/or contacts existing and potential customers to expand sales in California and eventually out of state, with emphasis on the dispensary marketplace.
Builds and manages the call center operation for incoming sales inquiries and oversees Inside Sales and Customer Service.
Leads the project regarding the implementation of the CRM tool and telephone system for the Call Center operation, along with full implementation of both systems.
Coordinates with the IT and e-Commerce team regarding full implementation and functionality of the CRM tool to capture necessary information from orders placed through the company website.
Oversees the integration of the CRM tool with our IQMS ERP system to properly track product movement and inventory levels based upon sales information.
Develops, trains and manages an Inside Sales team and establishes territories/regions based upon the growth of the business.
Creates a sales training program and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) with a focus on products and sales’ strategies.
Develops and implements a Compensation or Sales Incentive program for the Inside Sales team that applies once Sales Goals/Targets have been met.
Works with management to establish sales goals/targets and the overall tracking of performance.
Ensures that the sales team is meeting or exceeding the established sales goals/targets on a consistent basis.
Prepares daily and weekly reports and communicates sales trends with your team.
Prepares sales reports for senior management to review on a comparative basis.
Works with purchasing and management to ensure adequate inventory levels are being maintained.
Provides knowledge of trends in the industry to assist in the overall decision making process and the development of business strategies.
Be able to identify short and long-term sales trends.
Conducts performance reviews as needed for direct reports and has oversight related to indirect reports while creating KPI’s for the Inside Sales Team.
REQUIREMENTS

Proven track record of exceeding sales goals of packaging products in the legal cannabis or similar consumer product related industry.
5-7 years of Call Center Experience , with 3-5 years of building out a call center operation and developing an Inside Sales team.
7-10 years of Sales Management Experience with a supervisory role of up to 10-15 Inside Sales team members once the Call Center operation is fully established.
5-7 years of Experience with CRM solutions and the selection of telephone systems to meet the needs of the business.
Southern California candidates preferred to expand statewide role.
BA/BS in Sales, Marketing or related field from a 4 year college or university.
DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE :

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
Knowledge of dispensary and smoking supplies for the legal cannabis industry preferred.
Ability to apply critical thinking to arrive at solutions or approaches to problems.
Possess an understanding of the consumer products market segment is a plus.
Excellent writing and coaching skills.
Sound business judgment and decision making skills.
